Oh my goh.. I know you totally can’t believe there is a post from me. Well, since elevate started I haven’t had much access to a computer besides for work. My wonderful Dad and family came to see me this weekend and brought me a lap-top, So I’m alive again…. Elevate is going awesome. I have loved every minute of it, It was very hard and trying the first week, I had to adjust to being away from home and living on my own… I have become close to so many people here already and have made some really close relationships and friendships I believe I will have forever. I changed my stream from Media to ministry. I felt like it was God for my life, I just couldn’t get peace about Media, nothing against it. I just feel like I am where I am called to be. I am working under Tiffany Dupree, and Michelle Gros. They are the people that run the elevate program and I am interning under them. I love them so much they have been here for me, they have pushed me , and believed in me. I already feel so close to them. I would do anything for them. I am working with Childrens ministry on Sundays and Jr.High on Wednesdays.. I am working with Path Finders, its awesome. I will take pictures of them and post them. I love my babies. I feel like thats exactly where I am supposed to be. BANZAI 7 BABY!!!! woooo… Those of you who know what I mean will appreciate it….
So.. Let me tell ya a little bit about our night. It was interesing, stressful and hot…. LITERALLY HOT…
So me and stephanie decide , hey lets go take advantage of my new computer and do some studying, catch up on our ISOM videos. We go to CC’s and can not get the internet to work, so we decide… Hey lets drive to the Annex and sit in the car and use some internet. (there is wireless there) …. So we sit there for about 45 minutes chilled out with the windows down , watching our videos.. Then we say “gosh its hot in here” so we try to crank Stephanies car and it wont start… So we’re like GREATTT.. So anyways long story short, we have 1 video down, 2 hours sitting outside the annex on the sidewalk, burning hot, 1 trip to walmart, automatic jumper cables, that dont take the other car.. and agrivation to share for tonite’ll
I have to give a shout out to my boys, Caleb and Adam.. Ya’ll are always there to save me!lol.. All of you at home KNOW I NEED IT!!! They came up there and sat with us, to make sure we were safe… Thank you!!!! BY THE WAY THE WHOLE TIME STEPHANIE WAS IN HER BUNNY PJS>…. SHE THOUGHT NO-ONE WOULD SEE HER HAHAHA… Its a funny sight us all chilled out, Looking completely straight up G in stephanies car studying….
